Cassidy Dellemonache built Tandem Squared to be more than a coffee and ice cream shop—it’s a soft landing place for anyone who needs to exhale. After decades of advocating for individuals with disabilities through Tandem Employment Services, Cassidy realized her mission needed a new shape. One that felt joyful, grounding, and quietly radical. So she created her own little Disneyland in Old Town Fort Collins—a place filled with Hot Wheels, kindness, and second chances.
A two-time breast cancer survivor, neurodivergent mother of two, and lifelong advocate, Cassidy knows what it’s like to need comfort and community at the same time. Through Tandem Squared, she offers both. She employs those often overlooked, reminding the world what meaningful work truly looks like. Her rolled ice cream isn’t just a treat—it’s a tool for confidence, connection, and conversation.
Cassidy’s version of balance isn’t perfect stillness. It’s joy in motion, healing through purpose, and grace for the messy parts. For her, coming home to balance meant creating a space where everyone belongs—even (and especially) the ones who’ve been told they don’t.
